| Tell me, truthfully, what is more
important to you: The ’Will of Man’, or being ‘Moved by the Holy
Ghost’? When you wake up in the morning, what are the first words
out of your consciousness? Do they begin with "Lord…"? Or
do they start with "I think….", "I must…", or
"I will…"? |
Many saints cry out in agony
saying "Lord I want to know your will!", but then spend
their entire mental day with thoughts and OPINIONS which never
originated from God. Many saints simply want to find out what THEIR
WILL is today. To them, life is about ‘their decisions’ rather
than ‘God’s decisions’. They spend their days asking themselves
inner questions, or asking counselors for their inner wisdom, or
listening to the OPINIONS of others; rather than ASKING, SEEKING, AND
KNOCKING at the door of God.

| God wants HOLY people that he can
MOVE upon! And one of the most important aspects of true holiness is
not about doings and not doings; it is not about social behavior. True
holiness begins with a melding of your mind into God’s mind so that
HE CAN MOVE upon you. Your actions MUST follow your thoughts; it only
follows, therefore, that if you surrender your thoughts to the mind of
God, then your actions will BECOME holy. As your mind is given over to
the mind of God then you will begin to SPEAK and PROPHECY what the
Holy Ghost gives to you. |
| It is God’s desire that we all
become vessels that speak the truth, and prophecy of things to come.
It is His heart’s cry that we lay down the strong desires we have to
SPEAK OUR MIND and reach out to Him to have HIM move upon us. He has
called us to be made into His likeness and after His image. All these
things can only happen when we chose to STOP INTERFERING WITH THE
TRANSMISSION FROM HEAVEN. |
Some people are afraid to live
the bumper sticker of ‘Let Go and Let God’. They say: ‘Well, God
gave me a brain, and He obviously expects me to use it!" Yes,
there is a partial truth there, but the full answer is: "God gave
you a spirit too! And that spirit is wired to HEAR FROM GOD and
transmit that communication INTO YOUR BRAIN! So please, by all means,
use your brain. Just don’t use the natural mind only. Let God MOVE
on you! Let God SPEAK to you. Sit still; and He WILL give you ears to
hear that which the Spirit is saying to the churches.

Do you know what it takes to
work for the Lord, and to have the Lord work through you? It is
very much like making a cake, really, you just have to mix the
right elements
Firstly, you have to have
the biggest and main ingredient. That ingredient is willingness.
The human WILL! Without a heart that is surrendered to the idea
that God can use you, and that you can do things that please God,
you cannot be used of God. Why? Because working with God is a
matter of relationship. Two WILLS in agreement can accomplish
anything. The will of God and the will of a human makes a majority
vote in the plan and accomplishments of the Spirit.
Secondly, you need to
moisten the willingness with the exercise of FAITH! Faith is NOT
blind; contrary to popular opinion. Faith is a persuasion that is
so IMMOVABLE that there is nothing impossible. Where there are
limitations, yet a willing soul who has faith in it’s heart, the
LORD will be able to manifest. It is not that He is powerless to
manifest without the human element, but rather that He so much
wants to work WITH His creation that He will WAIT until He can
find a man or woman who will stand in the gap.
Thirdly, you need to stir
the Spirit with your WORKS. It may seem crazy at times to step out
to do things that are supernatural when you know that you are
MERELY human, but that is why the Lord says, "trust in the
Lord with all your heart, and lean not upon your own
understanding". You may have to be like Moses and raise a
rod, before the Red Sea parts, or be like an Elisha who smites the
Jordan river yelling, "Where is the Lord God of
Elijah?!"
The only remaining element
is the baking; and we call that PRAYER! When a humble soul kneels
with a heart full of willingness, confessing 100% conviction in
the power and response of the Almighty, then the very ACTION of
prayer becomes HOLY. God is a rewarder of all those who take off
their shoes on the Holy Ground of the Spirit. Yield now! Don’t
wait.

Do you like yourself? Do you
believe in yourself and in what you can do? Jesus did!
When He was 12 He knew that
He had to be about His Father's business.
When He was 30 He knew that
He had to go into the wilderness to be tempted; AND PASS!
When He was 30+ He knew that
He had to start preaching the truth; and not care who got upset!
When He was 30++ He knew
that He had to have help and had to pick trumpets; and not care if
they made mistakes.
When He was 33 1/2 He knew
that He had to go to Golgotha and be tortured; AND NOT GET MAD!
How do you start from
nothing, come out of nowhere, being a nobody in the eyes of the
civil and religious leaders, and knowing that you will be
misunderstood for your entire ministry UNLESS you have total
confidence in who you are? And if not that, then He was left with
only one other option. He had to be 100% confident in God! You
see, you either believe in the Call, or the Person who gave you
the call; if you are to make it in this world.
To be a Daniel, you must be
willing to PRAY when told not to, and even PRAY when the lions are
staring at you. You have to BELIEVE or you will fall asleep in
death.
To be a David, you must be
willing to PRAISE when you are all alone on the side of a hill
with a bunch of stinky sheep; if you are to become a King in God's
kingdom. You have to believe or you will fail in misery.
To be a Deborah, you must be
willing to PROPHECY when you are faced with the needy warriors of
God who seem to be defeated; if you are to be a good judge in this
world. You have to believe or you will fear in terror.
The forces of Darkness are
waging war against God's forces of the Light. Either the LIGHT
will dispel the darkness, or the DARKNESS will engulf the light.
Either you will be able to rise up and shout 'GREATER IS HE THAT
IS IN ME' and 'I HAVE FOUGHT THE GOOD FIGHT' or you will flee
before your enemies seven ways.
Christ did not fail because
HE CHOSE to believe. He believed what the Scriptures said about
Him. He believed what if Father said about Him, and in what His
Father asked Him to do. He believed what Moses and Elijah said to
Him on the mount of transfiguration. And He received strength from
angels in the garden of Gethsemane because He was not willing to
give up believing.
Wherever you are in your
personal growth before the Lord, you must believe for the next
step in your life. Your 'step' to take may seem REALLY HIGH, but
God (who is able to make people walk on water) can surely lift you
up to where you belong. He can make your feet climb to high
places. He can take you from feeling and thinking like you are a
beggar and a spiritual pauper to becoming a WEALTHY SAINT. You
without God are not much; perhaps a seed. You planted in God, with
God, nourished by God, and cared for by God can become a MIGHTY
TREE! It is your choice to chose confidence. All you have to do is
BELIEVE IN GOD 100% and stop doubting in yourself. The opposite of
PRIDE is not always humility ('feeling humble') but rather
SURRENDER and obedience. God and Christ conquered the spiritual
world. God and you and Christ will one day RULE THE EARTH! Take
hope. And believe. And go do what you know is RIGHT to do. In the
end, you will like yourself just a little bit better.
