| The face of God! We are told to seek
His face. He said that He spoke to Moses ‘face to face’. He said that
if you would seek Him with all your heart then you would find him. |
| But what do you expect to SEE when
you see Him? |
| Do you expect a frown as He analyzes
you from top to bottom? |
| Do you expect a glare as He fumes at
you over your sin? |
| Do you expect a rolling of His eyes
as though to say, ‘Oh it’s you!" |
| Do you expect a quizzical look like
‘Whatcha want today?’. |
| Do you expect a shocked look of ‘Oh
no not HIM, not HER!’. |
| Do you perhaps expect that you will
not find His face at all but rather that you will only be allowed to see
his hinder parts like the prophet of Old did? |
| Maybe you expect to see Him with
flared nostrils of anger, and to feel the fiery blast of His judgment; the
judges face. |
| I have a thought for you to consider
when you seek the face of God. I offer you an example; a face to stare
into in your minds eye, even as you seek the face of the All-Knowing,
All-Mighty Deity. I challenge you to LOOK INTO THE FACE OF JESUS CHRIST as
he is portrayed in the Gospels. |
| What you will find is the face of one
who wept at the sight of lost lambs, and scattered souls. You will see the
face of one who loved so intensely that he multiplied food for the hungry,
multiplied health to the sickly, and multiplied blessings to those he felt
they deserved nothing from God. |
| The self-righteous religious leaders
looked to the heavens and expected to see the GOODNESS in God’s face;
for they saw themselves as worthy. Yet, they received the SEVERITY of God.
Meanwhile, a humbled fisherman became ‘fisher of men’ when He saw the
masters face. A tax collector thief became a collector of souls for the
kingdom; once HE saw the face. And the lowly people of the land who had
now heritage INSTANTLY received a kingdom when they say HIS FACE. SEEK AND
YOU SHALL FIND TOO! |

| The WORLD says: "You are all the
same in God's eyes." |
| The BIBLE shows: God LOVES all - but
He FAVORS some (individuals, nations, families, etc. ) above others. |
| It is hard for us to conceive that a
JUST GOD must make distinctions between His sons and daughters; His
created. In our flesh we cry "UNFAIR" when we consider that our
peer might actually be 'more blessed' than we are blessed. |
| Yet, God has not been arbitrary or
unfair in the dispensing of His favor. He does not say, 'NO YOU CAN'T
HAVE'. He merely says, "IF YOU...THEN YOU"; which is Cause and
Effect, Sowing and Reaping, Action and Reaction. God has been 100% FAIR
with all His sons and daughters because He has told them ALL the ground
rules for success and for victory in life. |
| God has CLEARLY explained to us HOW
things work and even how He works. And having been given that information,
through the Bible, through the preachers, through the gifts of the Spirit,
we are left without excuse or complaint. We have been given the CAR and
the KEYS and the MANUAL, but we have been forewarned that HOW WE DRIVE
will determine our destiny. God makes DISTINCTION based on our choice of
will! He has even availed Himself to us for advice, assistance, and
admonition. It is we who must decide to 'call upon His name' and 'pray'
and 'seek' and 'knock' and 'ask'. If we DO not, then we get not; and the
distinctions between us all will grow wider and wider as decision after
decision is made. |
| The GOOD NEWS is that you have at
your disposal an entire KINGDOM of resources, and can even ERASE (have
forgiven) the mistakes of the past, in order that you may at any time pick
up your life and CHANGE your final state of existence. You can become
ANYTHING in God that you desire, but it would be wise to find out from Him
where you fit in His will. If you choose to go it alone, don't complain
about your state. God did not STOP YOU; it was you that stopped God. |
| The Scripture says, "I have set
before you LIFE and DEATH -- CHOOSE LIFE". We must all make that
choice every day. God is waiting for your decisions; don’t waste your
opportunity. |

your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you,

prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to
thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall

vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be
heard for their much speaking. |
| Matthew 9:38 Pray ye therefore the
Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. |
| Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye
enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is
weak. |
| Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you,
What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them,
and ye shall have them. |
| Luke 6:28 Bless them that curse you,
and pray for them which despitefully use you. |
| Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto
them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; |
| James 5:13 Is any among you
afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. |
| James 5:14 Is any sick among you? let
him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him,
anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: |
| James 5:16 Confess your faults one to
another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual
fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. |

|
First Satan says, "Who?" Then he says, "BOO!" Then he says, 'I will kill you!' -- just a figment of your imagination?
