HAPPY NEW YEAR! Welcome to the year 2006. Do you know what that means? That means that it has been WAY over 2000 years since CHRIST ascended into HEAVEN and sat down on the right hand of God! That means it has been over 2 DAYS since God in His infinite wisdom dispensed HIS HOLY SPIRIT unto His people, handed out the armor of the Spirit, filled His people with all the gifts they would need to save the souls of the Earth, opened His personally penned documents of instruction and encouragement to His friends, prophesied through His servants and Son and angels and earthly messengers of the times that we are now living in. How are we doing saints? How is the ‘body of ‘Christ’ these days? Do you think it aught to make some new years (yes, plural not possessive) resolves? I wonder what resolutions Christ has made for us . . .  

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Your feet are pointed forward for a reason, and your years never run backwards for the same reason; that reason being THERE ARE NO DO-OVERS, only DO BETTERS! Yesterdays anointing has been poured upon you, run down your garments and has been absorbed into the ground; you need more anointing. Last years failures have already sunk beneath the flowing stream of the shed blood of Jesus Christ -- who sent that river chasing after you from the very hill of Calvary. YE ARE CLEAN. You have no time to look back over your shoulder; for the year has vaporized; the deeds have been done and cannot be ‘undone’; ye are already forgiven, ye are free to RUN, FLY, JUMP, SOAR, and SEEK HIS FACE any way you wish this year! You are not bound children; not bound to the past; YE ARE CHILDREN OF THE ETERNAL NOW, and of the Forever Future.  Get moving in God!

 HAPPY NEW YEAR! It is time for you to see how good the sword you were given was working for you! Did you it break? Did it need constant sharpening? Did you make a new one that was better than the last one? There are many things needed to make a good sword; fine and sturdy metal, much heat, lots of banging and pressure, hours of sweating over its creation, and fine water to cool the blade into perfection.  But the battles determine the true strength of a sword when it is pitted against the adversary’s sword. Yesterday’s sword may have failed you, but you do not need to ago into battle with that old broken sword! You can find more fine elements in the storehouses of God, and with HIS WISDOM fashion one that will work for the UPCOMING BATTLES OF VICTORY. Greater is HE that teaches your hands to war, and gives you the PROPHETIC SKILLS needed in anticipation of the FUTURE NECESSITY! Rejoice!

 HAPPY NEW YEAR! The clock of God’s Eternal making – HIS ETERNAL PLAN – has just gone CURLUNK, one more notch forward toward . . . THE FINISHING! You are almost done saint. A few more years, a few more victories, a few more rescues in HIS NAME! And you are HOME FREE. Keep the faith today. Remember this year that you are IN the winning kingdom, surrounded by the Heavenly Host!                                          HAPPY  . . . NEW … YOU!!

It’s a cold and rainy day! Nothing seems right any more; nothing seems important. I look out of the window of my mind across the vast horizons of time and I see that I have come a long way; through swamps, through dense forests, through vast desert places; even through a few lush fields. Yet, when I look at where I stand in comparison to where I have to go it seems like a long journey ahead. I am a pioneer on a wagon train carving out a new territory which others will one day cross easily on roads not yet made.

 It’s a bright and sunny day! The clouds look so beautiful; the horizon is so vast; the possibilities for journey are endless; it is all a matter of which way to turn now. I look across the vast sky of time from the cockpit of my mind and I see that for all that I have seen there is yet so much more to see. I fly so easily now; the storms are below me; the destination I travel to is not really that far away because of the vehicle that I ride in. I am a pilot in jet and I see no limitations.

 It was a quickly passing day! When it started there was only one; then there were 12, then 70, then 10, then none; then 120; then thousands. But the beginning of the day did not end like the end of the day. Darkness covered the earth; the day had past and the night had crept in. Another day started but the sun refused to rise and the night extended itself; then a glimmer of light on the earth, a small light; then more small lights; then vast cities of small lights. And it was evening and morning of the second day. I am God and I say to you, it was not THAT long ago.

 It is a rapidly approaching day! The days of natural pioneering will be over; the days of techno-society will come crashing down. All that past pioneers built and modern fast flying people accomplished will simply STOP; like a watch whose battery halts one day without warning. But it will be a day of a different kind of pioneer, and a new kind of flying. I am mankind and I say there is nothing new under the sun… ah, but ABOVE THE SUN, in the Heavenly Places I can clearly see that EVERYTHING WILL CHANGE.

 Every day is a new day! Prophecy may tell you what is coming, but there is so much that prophecy will not utter. Prediction, statistical analysis, mathematical calculations, and genius level reason may paint you the possibilities of what the next ‘day’ will look like; however, in the end it is merely another weather forecast brought to you by those who study the ‘signs of the times’. Looking to the past days can sometimes help us see the future days, but only DECISIONS can truly ‘change’ the upcoming days; decisions by individuals, decisions by groups, decisions by governments, decisions by prayer warriors and intercessors, decisions by God Himself. I am a mouthpiece in training; I speak what I ‘see’ but I see through a glass dimly, just like all the other prophetic ones in training.

 There WAS a day appointed unto Man! And there is (soon) to be a day that is appointed unto God; the Day of the Lord draws nigh. Yet, no man can tell how fast it is approaching; it seems to be coming at the speed of a wagon, but what if it is really coming at the speed of sound?! Perspective is everything when it comes to measuring a day. I am the voice of reason and I say: This Day Is Almost Up, great ready for day THREE.

 Have you ever been to a movie and sat through to the end of the credits of that movie. In order to bring to you about 2 hours of entertainment there were literally HUNDREDS of people who gave of their time, their strength, their passion, their skills, there expertise, there team effort, their personal touch, and their sweat and tears. Sometimes the credits for a major motion picture run for minutes at the end of the movie.

 And then come the acknowledgements of all the cities, counties, countries, establishments, and so forth that contributed to ‘making this film possible’; any of which had they not been available the film itself WOULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT.

 When God decided to start the Church of Jesus Christ he began with a handful of people who were willing to follow Jesus Christ. He put on quite a spectacle with a limited cast, a limited crew, a single director and producer; He had a small location to work with, and a whole lot of ‘extras’ for the back drop. The film was a success! It was a good first film, and the story line stuck. The film has been replayed. Adaptations of the film have been made all over the earth. The characters were a hit, and all received their rewards for their outstanding performances. We know their names by heart, and their deeds have not been forgotten. The film has been immortalized in HIS-story (history)..

 Yet, we so often forget that that was only the FIRST FILM. The greatest story every told, the greatest book ever written, the greatest stage production turned best seller turned film was just the FIRST WORK OF THE AUTHOR! He never had it in his mind to only write ONE ACT, or one book, or one play, or one show. He always had it planned more like a trilogy, or long running series. He is writing an EPIC not a one hit wonder! 

Now the question you have to ask yourself is this: Do I want to be in the sequel? That is right. The casting call has gone out to everywhere. God needs more actors, more sound technicians, more miracle workers. God needs more institutions to ‘support’ HIS PRODUCTION. He is not interesting in making ‘their films’; He is interested in making HIS films. He needs settings; is your church a viable backdrop?

 He wants to DRAW MEN in! Men don’t just ‘show up for church’ any more than they just ‘show up for the movies, or show up for the theatre’. They are drawn in by the TRAILERS! God needs artists who can conceptualize what He is offering; He needs marketers who can sell people on the GOODNESS of the message in the film; He needs POETS, PROPHETS, KINGS, FARMERS, CITY DWELLERS, PIONEERS and a whole lot more support actors. He needs more technical crew too; people who do not need to be in the limelight, but who are one hundred percent committed to the final film. He needs lighting technicians, and sound technicians, and script writers and assistant directors; as well as financial backers for the success of the film. He also needs his distribution team ready and waiting too.

 He already has His leading man (His Son), and there already exists the leading lady (The Bride of His Son). People do not come to see the gaffers, after all, but the superstars. It is with them that we are wowed and awed and marveled.

 The first film was called: THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST AND HIS NEW CHURCH. The second film will surely be called: THE MYSTERY OF JESUS CHRIST AND HIS ENDTIME CHURCH. I received my casting call in my spirit mailbox and intend to answer it. How about you??
