“THE HARVEST”
"The harvest is ready", the Lord has said,
“but the laborers are so few.”
So pray that the Lord of the harvest sends,
a harvesting labor crew.
Paul said, one must plant the seed,
and another must water it well.
And God will give the increase himself,
the Apostle continues to tell.
Now he that plants this precious seed,
and he that waters are one.
But each will receive his own reward,
for the lengths that he has gone.
For one man lays a foundation down,
and another builds there on.
So be careful how you lay those bricks,
and souls will soon be won.
Jesus is looking for laborers now,
to work hard in his fields.
And rewards will come, the day we see,
how much the harvest yields.
Lift up your eyes unto the fields,
for it’s white and ready to reap.
And the reaper and sower will truly rejoice,
with eternal life to keep.
And we will reap, where we haven’t sewn,
but where other men have sweat.
Rewards to place at Jesus’ feet,
in payment for our debt.
So get off that unemployment line,
and start sewing seeds today.
And the crop that grows from all your work,
will be harvested down the way.
The time is short, so we must begin,
to take our master's lead.
Cause Jesus Christ will harvest crop,
if we will plant the seed!
