"GOD BLESS AMERICA! GOD BLESS THE USA”
How many times do we see this on bumper
stickers, on labels, on posters, on publications in this country? When the evil
terrorists assaulted the innocent civilians in an act of insanity they thought
to take away our belief; not in our money, not in our society, not even in our
leaders really. They sought to take it away from OUR GOD!
They wanted to level a CURSE on America and prove to us that we were NOT BLESSED. They reasoned in their hearts that if they
could prove our God to be impotent, and their Allah-Mighty to be stronger that
we would receive to ourselves a cursing. It is exactly the same lie that a
wicked invader once threw at the face of Hezekiah and his people Israel. He
wanted them to FEAR; to NOT SEEK the LORD. He wanted them to ‘not trust’ in the
LORD of Hezekiah.
Do you know how many well meaning Christians
have ‘agreed’ with the enemy and said, in essence, ‘yes we are under a curse,
and this assault proves it’. They ended up agreeing with their enemy. How must
that look to our God! But then this should be no surprise, really, for we have
been agreeing with out Adversary for years now.
Satan comes to our minds and whispers evil
accusations against God and ourselves and our brothers and the church and our
leaders and our nation, and then ASSAULTS US and says we deserve it! We crumple
in heart like a sheet of aluminum foil ripped from the carton wrinkled and
tossed; and the laugher of evil is heard around the world; and Christians STOP
BEING FREE, stop believing in LIBERTY.
‘You must be willing to sacrifice your liberties
in order to be protected from evil’ has become a mantra of late; a mantra of
those in spiritual darkness. WHO IS OUR PROTECTOR ANYWAY?? Is it government, or
God? Do we get our blessings from the Constitution, or from the God who helped
support that Constitution? You decide – do you really want America to be
BLESSED? Then dial home! Hit the red phone! CALL UPON HIS NAME! And then we will
see whose ‘mighty one’ prevails, and whose nation is GOD BLESSED.
